A Connecticut native, Maggie is the founder and head designer of Mountain Laurel Design. Established in 2020, Maggie started Mountain Laurel with the vision of improving how people experience their home through innovative design and fantastic service.

A lifelong passion for design
From a young age, Maggie always found herself gravitating towards creativity. Throughout her time in school, she took on extra classes in art and design to fulfill her interest and nurture her talents. When she graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s degree in Art History, she knew her true passion lay in interior design. She worked tirelessly to make her dreams a reality and is now the proud owner of her own award-winning design firm with designs featured on HGTV’s My Lottery Dream Home.

Maggie’s unique design approach
As a military spouse with three boys, Maggie has had the opportunity to live in different cities all over the world, refining her design and decorating style. Her busy home life gives her a deep understanding of designing for the space you need functionally and practically. Maggie loves taking the time to get to know her clients on an individual level so she can provide the most personalized experience to each of them. She is passionate about creating beautiful interiors that reflect her client’s personality, while also making sense for their lifestyle and needs. Taking a holistic approach to design, she has a unique skill for evoking a sense of pure calm and comfort in every space she works on, from small family rooms to expansive office foyers.
